JOB OVERVIEW

Company Overview:

We are a pet supplies retailer in Singapore, selling products including food, peepad, cat litter for Cats and Dogs. We are currently selling on marketplaces such as Shopee, Lazada and Tiktok.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy, and proactive E-commerce Virtual Assistant to support our daily operations and content strategy. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day backend tasks, handle customer support, and leverage modern AI tools to efficiently create optimized product content and marketing assets that drive traffic and conversions across Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, and TikTok Shop.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SEO & AI-Driven Content Creation

Utilize AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to efficiently draft compelling product descriptions, engaging bullet points, and high-converting ad copy.

Conduct basic keyword research to identify high-traffic search terms relevant to our products.

Infuse target keywords naturally into product listings to improve organic search rankings (SEO) across all e-commerce platforms and Google.

Generate ideas and outlines for social media posts, TikTok video scripts, or short blog posts using AI, ensuring they align with our brand voice.

2. Listing Creation & Design (Canva)

Design eye-catching product images, promotional banners, and storefront graphics using Canva.

Ensure all visual assets adhere to a clean, modern, and minimalist design aesthetic.

Maintain strict brand consistency across all graphics, actively utilizing our primary orange color schemes.

3. Listing Optimization

Upload new products and maintain existing listings across Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, and TikTok.

Ensure pricing, variations, and stock levels are accurately reflected and regularly updated.

4. Order Fulfillment & Inventory Support

Perform basic collating of daily orders across all platforms.

Coordinate the ordering of goods and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment and restocks.

Track order statuses and proactively flag any potential delays.

5. Customer Support & Returns Management (Key Role)

Provide timely, polite, and accurate responses to customer inquiries via platform chats, emails, or social media.

Process return and refund requests promptly according to platform rules and company policies.

Log return reasons to help identify product quality issues or listing inaccuracies.

6. Ad-hoc projects

Other ad hoc projects such as product research, emails to potential customers (based on a prescribed template).

Requirements & Qualifications:

Proven experience working as a Virtual Assistant in the e-commerce space.

Hands-on experience navigating the seller centers for Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, and TikTok.

Proficiency with AI prompt engineering for content generation (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) and a solid understanding of how to edit AI outputs for quality and accuracy.

Familiarity with e-commerce SEO best practices and keyword placement.

Proficiency in Canva with a strong eye for clean, professional design.

Excellent written communication skills for customer service and copywriting.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask across different platforms.

Working Hours & Compensation:

Hours: 40 Hours a week, Monday - Friday

Timezone Requirement: Singapore and Malaysia Time.

Rate: USD350/Month + USD50/Month Variable (after 3 months)
