SDR Electric, Plumbing & Heating Inc. is a rapidly growing residential service company in Ontario, Canada. We provide Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Generator, Water Treatment and Well Pump services.
We are transitioning from time-and-material billing to a professional flat-rate service model and are looking for an experienced Housecall Pro Implementation Specialist to build and optimize our entire operating system.
This is not an entry-level administrative position. We are looking for someone who has successfully implemented Housecall Pro or similar field service software for home service companies.
Your goal is to build a complete, scalable Housecall Pro system that allows our office and technicians to operate consistently while supporting future growth to 10+ service technicians.
Responsibilities
Housecall Pro Setup
* Configure company settings
* Build all service categories
* Configure technicians, permissions and user roles
* Create job types
* Configure dispatch boards
* Configure scheduling workflows
* Set up recurring maintenance services
* Configure estimates and invoicing
* Build customer tags
* Configure automations
* Create customer communication templates
* Configure memberships
* Build follow-up campaigns
* Set up technician checklists
* Build inspection forms
* Configure payment workflows
* Configure financing options
* Build reporting dashboards
Flat Rate Pricebook
* Import and organize thousands of materials
* Build flat-rate services
* Create Good / Better / Best options
* Build equipment replacement packages
* Create maintenance services
* Build memberships
* Organize categories for Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC
* Add photos where appropriate
* Build technician presentation templates
Workflow Development
Design workflows including:
* Incoming lead
* Booking
* Dispatch
* Technician arrival
* Estimate presentation
* Financing
* Approval
* Job completion
* Customer payment
* Review requests
* Membership enrollment
* Follow-up campaigns
* Warranty tracking
* Repeat customer workflows
### Documentation
Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for:
* CSR
* Dispatcher
* Office staff
* Service Technicians
* Sales Process
* Membership Sales
* Closing Jobs
* Inventory Procedures
### Integrations
Experience with the following is highly preferred:
* QuickBooks Online
* HighLevel
* ServiceM8
* Stripe
* Zapier
*
* n8n
* PandaPay (Nuvei)
* Google Workspace
Experience with Odoo inventory is a major asset.
## Required Experience
You must have:
* Previous Housecall Pro implementation experience
* Experience building flat-rate pricebooks
* Home service industry knowledge
* Strong understanding of Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC businesses
* Excellent English communication
* Strong documentation skills
* Ability to work independently
* Excellent organizational skills
