JOB OVERVIEW

hi tech-sop writer ,

are you a unique wordsmith who loves order but 'hates' boring writing. You will own our Information Architecture across two fronts: organizing our internal helpdesk documentation (SOPs) and shaping the textual content on our main website (the WIKI /KnowledgeBase). Blogs are being taken care of already.
We're an stablished herbal remedies ecommerce brand based in the NL(EU) , shipping worldwide.
Your ultimate goal is to create a unified voice and structure. Whether a customer is browsing our website or a support agent is reading an internal guide, the information should be flawlessly organized, crystal clear, and engaging.

Our own support team does write SOPs, but their main strength is helpdesk for ecommerce. A technical writer oversees and updates documentation. It will be necessary to be in close contact with the support team to understand what they need, while at the same time in close contact with the product specialist and webdesigner, to come to a great strategy.

What you’ll be DOING ###
Audit & Structure: Look at our current website content and internal helpdesk files, map out a logical flow, and organize them into an intuitive structure.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Interview our team or review existing workflows to write clear, step-by-step internal SOPs that our helpdesk can follow without confusion.
Storification: Take dry, technical, or procedural concepts and weave them into engaging textual narratives—making our website copy and even our internal training materials feel human and story-driven.
Bridge the Gap: Ensure our external marketing/website voice perfectly aligns with our internal support logic so the brand feels like one cohesive unit.

Required SKILLS & Experience ##
Proven Experience in Technical Writing / SOP Creation: You know how to break down complex processes into simple, scannable steps.
Strong Information Architecture Skills: You love organizing messy folders, tags, and content hierarchies into neat, logical systems.
Exceptional English Copywriting: You understand "storification"—how to hook a reader, use narrative hooks, and write engaging text instead of robotic corporate jargon.
Familiarity with Knowledge Bases: Experience with tools like Notion, ClickUp, Zendesk, or GitBook is a massive plus.

The DETAILS ###
Type: Gig, or Part-Time prefered, but open to full-time for the right fit
Team: You’ll be joining a friendly, remote global team of about 20 people (spanning the PH, Europe, and beyond)
Salary: Competitive and negotiable, strictly depending on your design talent, experience, and portfolio quality. In the job description you'll find some estimate amount that would count for full time
