JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role
We are a growing U.S.-based construction company seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support our preconstruction and estimating efforts. This role is ideal for a highly organized Civil Engineer or Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in residential, multifamily, hotel, and land development projects.
The ideal candidate can independently perform takeoffs, develop budgets, analyze subcontractor bids, and support project planning from concept through construction.
Responsibilities
• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam Revu or other estimating software.
• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Develop conceptual and detailed project budgets
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and risk items
• Maintain cost databases and estimate templates
• Prepare bid summaries and preconstruction reports
• Support multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience
• 7+ years of construction estimating experience
• Experience in at least two of the following:
o Residential Construction
o Multifamily Construction
o Hotel Construction
o Land Development
Technical Skills
• Bluebeam Revu (Required) or other estimating software
• Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
• Microsoft Teams
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting U.S.-based contractors
• Quantity Surveying background
• Experience creating project budgets from conceptual drawings
• Knowledge of subcontractor bid leveling process
• Experience coordinating vendors and subcontractors
