JOB OVERVIEW

RocketAMS is a fully remote Amazon eCommerce agency out of Australia, founded by ex-Amazon Australia employees with over $100M in collective sales experience. We are small, growing fast, and we win because our people are genuinely sharper than the people we compete against.

This is posted as a "Data Analyst" role. That is the entry point, not the ceiling. You will start in the numbers, and if you are as good as we think, you grow into running client accounts and leading. We are hiring for raw horsepower, not for a resume full of Amazon experience. We will teach you Amazon. We cannot teach you how to think.

Who we are actually looking for

We want one of two people:

The very smart one. You graduated near the top of your class, dean's list or equivalent, and you are the person friends call when they need a problem thought through properly. You see patterns in data other people miss and you enjoy it.

The sharp, magnetic one. You are quick, curious, and people trust you fast. You have led something, a team, a club, a project, and you want a path toward managing clients and eventually people.

Either way, you are switched on. You read carefully, you figure things out without being spoon-fed, and you get quietly annoyed when a process is dumber than it needs to be, then you fix it.

What you will actually do

Own a small set of client accounts end to end on the backend, with a senior manager guiding you.
Turn Amazon sales, advertising, and marketplace data into clear findings the team can act on, not just charts.
Build and automate recurring reports so nobody does the same manual work twice. Google Sheets to start, and we will hand you AI tooling as fast as you can take them.
Spot better ways to run things and build them. Process automation is a core part of this role, not a "nice to have".
Work directly with brand managers and specialists, learning the strategy side while you support it.
What you need

A track record of being excellent at hard things, academic, professional, or both.
Strong, fast reasoning and genuine comfort with numbers.
Advanced Google Sheets or Excel, and the appetite to learn Amazon quickly.
Clear written English and the judgement to know what matters in a pile of data.
You do not need Amazon experience. You do need to be the kind of person who picks it up in weeks.
