We manage home repairs, maintenance and renovations for busy homeowners around New Plymouth, New Zealand.
We are on the look out for someone who can turn project photos into professional content that sounds like us and showcases the type of work we do. As well as sharing who we are and our process.
This isn't a "post whatever, whenever" role. We have a brand voice and a content calendar already — we need someone who can work within them, not reinvent them every week.
What you'll be doing:
- Planning and scheduling
- Growing our following
- Writing posts that follow our brand voice to showcase our projects — real client stories
- Writing and setting up
- Working from rough voice notes, photos or a quick chat — and turning that into finished posts, including videos
What we're after:
- Someone who can write in a specific voice, not just "good at social media" in general
- You MUST have excellent English
- You MUST have experience in the building /construction industry
- Comfortable working independently once you've got the brief — we don't have time to micromanage
- Can turn messy, unstructured input (a voice note, a pile of photos) into something polished
- You MUST be reliable, solution focussed, an excellent communicator and highly organised
This would suit someone who has a few other clients that they do social media for as it will only be a couple of hours per week.
