JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience as a live medical scribe? Do you have HIPAA certification, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and excellent communication skills? Join our team as a Virtual Medical Scribe and assist healthcare providers in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Real-Time Medical Documentation – Accurately transcribe patient encounters, history, physical exams, treatment plans, and provider notes in EHR.
Chart Preparation & Data Entry – Organize patient records, update medical histories, and ensure documentation accuracy.
HIPAA Compliance – Maintain strict confidentiality and security of patient information.
Medical Terminology & Clinical Knowledge – Utilize clinical expertise to ensure precise and detailed charting.
Communication & Coordination – Work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to streamline workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Registered Nurse (RN) license
Previous Experience as a Live Medical Scribe
HIPAA Certification
Proficiency in Medical Terminology
Experience in US EHR Systems
Familiar with US health insurances and health systems
Familiar with ICD-10 codes and CPT codes
Excellent English Communication Skills – Written and verbal
Detail-Oriented & Tech-Savvy
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Punctual, excellent work ethics.
Medical experience is a plus.

Working Conditions & Requirements
This is a virtual/remote role in a graveyard shift. Expected hours is 20 to 30 hours per week with high potential to be full time. The candidate must have a quiet, professional home office setup and meet the following requirements.
