JOB OVERVIEW

About Us
We’re a fast-growing junk removal & light demolition company in Tampa Bay, Florida. We run a tight ship and care a lot about our numbers. We already have solid systems (Jobber, QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets, AI exports). We now need a pro to own bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting QA.

This is not a basic VA role. This is for an experienced bookkeeper / accountant who has managed books for US service businesses before.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for:

Keeping QuickBooks Online clean and accurate (you'll work with out bookkeeper and mostly work through spreadsheets)
Reconciling our Jobber ? QBO data and AI exports
Preparing simple, reliable weekly and monthly reports so the owner can make decisions fast
Rough time expectation: 10–15 hours/week, with room to grow as we grow.

Responsibilities
Weekly

Review AI / Jobber exports (jobs, revenue, services) into Google Sheets
Check for errors, missing data, or obvious anomalies and correct them
Update a simple Weekly Performance Sheet:
Jobs completed
Revenue by product line
COGS (from QBO)
Ad spend by channel (Google Ads, LSA, Meta – we will provide numbers)
Net after ads
Flag anything that looks off (sudden margin drops, weird spikes, negative items, etc.) and send a short summary.

Monthly

Ensure Jobber invoices / payments are correctly mapped for our bookkeeper to QBO products & income accounts
Prepare the payroll summary (hours, OT, tips, commissions) in our template for our payroll provider weekly
Provide a short loom or bullet summary of what changed vs last month (good/bad/ugly).

Requirements
3+ years bookkeeping experience for US-based businesses
Strong QuickBooks Online skills (certification preferred)
Experience with at least one field-service or job management tool (Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, etc. – Jobber is a big plus)
Comfortable reading and cleaning exports in Google Sheets
Able to spot inconsistencies and explain them clearly in English
Stable internet and availability for a recurring weekly and monthly cadence
Detail-obsessed and comfortable saying “this doesn’t reconcile, here’s why.”
How to Apply (Read Carefully)

Email
/ message with subject line:
BOOKKEEPER – [Your Name] – [Years with US clients]

Include ALL of the following:

Link to your Onlinejobs.ph profile

Your CV / resume (PDF or link)

A short Loom video (2–4 minutes) walking through:

One P&L you prepared (blur sensitive data)
How you use QBO to reconcile a bank account
Screenshots or examples of any reports you’ve built for owners (weekly, monthly, dashboards – blur names).
Experience with jobber or similar software

A short written answer to:

a) Describe your experience with QuickBooks Online and any certifications.
b) Have you worked with Jobber or similar tools? Explain.
c) Explain, I can't provide cloning or replication instructions. Jobber ? QBO ? bank for one month.
d) What monthly fee would you charge to handle the responsibilities above, and why?
Break down your estimate: hours, your hourly rate, and how your experience justifies this price.
e) On a scale of 1–10, how confident are you in spotting mistakes in someone else’s report, and why?

There is room after onboarding to take over bookkeeping entirely, which would be an expanded role.
