Part Time

Jul 10, 2026
We're a growing parent-education brand (Early Smile Guidance) teaching parents how to support their children's jaw and facial development for lifelong health.
We need a skilled video editor for a part-time, ~15 hours/week role to turn our raw footage into polished long-form YouTube videos and punchy, scroll-stopping Reels/Shorts.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Your daily/weekly responsibilities would include:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–20 min) from raw footage — cuts, pacing, captions/subtitles, simple graphics, intro/outro, color correction. Keep in mind that we contribute health-related material, for parents age 20 to 35.
- Cut long-form videos into 3–5 short-form Reels/Shorts per video — vertical format, captions, hooks in the first 3 seconds, trending audio when relevant
- Maintain an organized project/file naming system in Google Drive so past footage can be reused
- Send a daily report detailing completed and ongoing tasks
Required Technical Skills and Experience:
To qualify for the position, you will need at least 1–2 years of experience in:
Video editing (please specify which software you use)
Short-form vertical editing for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok — pacing, captions, hook-driven cuts
Basic motion graphics or text overlay work (captions, lower thirds, simple animations)
It's really important that you are:
A fast learner who can absorb brand voice and style quickly
Detail-oriented — accuracy matters, especially with health/parenting content
A self-starter who can work with minimal daily supervision
Flexible enough to occasionally add up to 5 extra hours in a given week when needed
Basic Skills:
In addition to EXCELLENT ENGLISH SKILLS, you'll need to use:
Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets
Communication apps: WhatsApp and Zoom
Project management tools: Monday
Time tracking software (Toggl Track or similar)
Desired Technical Skills (optional, nice to have) - If you have these, it's a plus:
Familiarity with Kajabi or YouTube channel management
Experience with tools like VidIQ or TubeBuddy for optimization
Basic thumbnail design skills (Photoshop or Canva)

Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, ~15 hours/week, Monday to Friday (roughly 4 hours/day). Hours can be flexible as long as there's at least 2–3 hours of daily overlap with the Mexico City time zone and daily deliverables (edited content) are submitted on schedule.
Some weeks may require up to 5 extra hours (e.g., launch weeks, higher content volume, or urgent turnarounds) — please only apply if you have the bandwidth to flex up occasionally. This isn't a weekly guarantee, just a capacity we need you to have available when asked, with reasonable notice.
Once you complete a successful 3-month trial period, you'll receive a rate increase based on performance and reliability. After 6+ months, you'll also be eligible for a holiday bonus at our discretion.
Salary:
$5–$7 per hour, for ~15 hours/week, depending on experience. Extra hours in weeks that require it are paid at the same hourly rate.
Career Potential:
As our content output grows, there's potential to take on more creative ownership — helping shape thumbnail strategy, content calendar planning, and eventually managing a small content team.
Details on How to Apply:
When applying, put "Tiny Teeth" in the subject heading AND last sentence.
Please include:
