JOB OVERVIEW

Technical Customer Support Specialist – LED & Low-Voltage Systems
Department: Customer Experience | Type: Full-Time | Setup: Remote
Experience: 2–4 Years | Salary: PHP 42,000 – PHP 55,000/month
Reports To: Customer Service Manager | Start: Immediate / Negotiable

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
HitLights makes LED lighting systems — strips, drivers, power supplies, dimmers, and low-voltage control gear. Our customers range from DIYers wiring under-cabinet lights to contractors speccing large commercial installs. When they have a technical question, we want someone on the other end who actually knows the answer.
If you have an electrical or electronics background and you're comfortable talking to people, this role was built for you.

YOU'RE A STRONG FIT IF YOU:

Have a degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
Can troubleshoot basic low-voltage circuits: voltage drop, wiring gauge, load calculations, driver compatibility
Have 2–4 years of customer-facing experience (remote support, technical helpdesk, field service, or similar)
Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) actively in your workflow — we'll ask you to show us how
Write and speak English clearly and precisely
Work well independently in a remote setup

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Answer technical questions via phone, email, chat, and social media — product compatibility, wiring guidance, troubleshooting
Help customers design simple LED systems and pick the right components
Keep records clean in our CRM and hit core KPIs: CSAT, FCR, and response time
Flag recurring product or compatibility issues and feed them back to the team
Help onboard junior support staff as the team grows

TO APPLY
Submit your resume and a short cover letter (under one page). Your cover letter must answer both of these:

Technical: A customer is running 10 meters of high-density LED strip at 24V. They're getting dimming at the far end. What's likely causing it, and how do you fix it?
AI: Name one AI tool you use regularly and give a specific example of how it makes you better at your job.

Applications without a cover letter will not be reviewed.
HitLights is an equal opportunity employer.
