We're looking for a Remote Preconstruction & Project Management Coordinator to work directly with the Director of Construction. The role will begin with a strong focus on preconstruction, estimating, scope development, bid coordination, budgeting, procurement, and constructability review. As you build trust and demonstrate strong judgment, the role is expected to expand into broader remote project-management support for active construction projects. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants autonomy, technical variety, and real exposure to the decisions that shape project cost, schedule, quality, and execution.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in construction preconstruction, estimating, project engineering, or project management
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and trade sequencing
- Experience preparing bid packages, leveling proposals, identifying scope gaps, and drafting clear scope narratives
- Ability to review multiple drawing disciplines for coordination, completeness, constructability, and risk
- Strong written communication skills for RFIs, bid instructions, subcontractor correspondence, meeting notes, and leadership summaries
- Working knowledge of project budgets, procurement, schedules, RFIs, submittals, change management, and construction documentation
- Comfort working independently in a remote role while staying highly responsive, organized, and accountable
Ideal:
Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, estimating software, or scheduling tools
Familiarity with Los Angeles construction markets, subcontractor pricing, permitting considerations, or local trade conditions
