We are seeking a detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant to join our growing public accounting firm. This is a long-term remote position working directly with management and supporting multiple client accounts.
Schedule
Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Overtime may be available and paid based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (invoicing, customer payments, credit notes)
Accounts Payable and vendor bill processing
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Inventory management and inventory adjustments
Cost accounting and inventory costing
Sales order and purchase order processing in Odoo
Month-end closing assistance
General bookkeeping and accounting support
Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Requirements
Odoo experience is REQUIRED
Strong understanding of Inventory Management
Strong understanding of Cost Accounting
Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Bank reconciliation experience
QuickBooks knowledge is a plus
Excellent attention to detail
Strong Excel skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Spanish is a plus
Public accounting experience is a plus
ERP experience beyond Odoo is a plus
