Role Summary
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist plays a vital role in fueling our growth by managing the full billing cycle for our installation projects. You will ensure the financial health of the company by managing milestone-based invoicing, coordinating with third-party financiers, and maintaining accurate accounts.

Key Responsibilities

*Milestone Invoicing:** Generate and issue accurate invoices based on specific project phases (e.g., contract signing, permit approval, final installation).

*Payment Collection:** Track and secure payments from homeowners, commercial clients, and third-party solar financing partners (e.g., GoodLeap, Sunnova, Mosaic).

*Customer & Partner Support:** Address client billing inquiries and coordinate with sales and project management teams to clear payment roadblocks with a high standard of customer care.

Basic Requirements

*Experience: 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or general accounting.

*Industry Knowledge:Experience with milestone or progress-based billing (background in solar, construction, or home improvement is a strong plus).

*Software Proficiency:Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

*Attention to Detail:** High degree of accuracy in data entry and financial reconciliation.

*Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills to professionally interact with customers and financing partners regarding sensitive payment matters.
