JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dedicated full-time Senior Copywriter to join our marketing team remotely. This is a long-term role for an experienced writer with at least 5 years of professional copywriting or content writing experience who can create clear, engaging, and effective content across a wide range of formats.

This person will support our ongoing marketing, sales, and communications needs. Projects may include website copy, long-form articles, landing pages, email campaigns, social media posts, video scripts, advertisements, brochures, sell sheets, sales materials, presentation copy, customer communications, and other branded content.

We are a business-to-business company serving practical, time-conscious decision-makers. Our audiences may include business owners, operations managers, HR leaders, facilities managers, safety professionals, and other workplace leaders. We need a writer who can quickly understand a topic, identify what matters most to the reader, and communicate it in a clear and approachable way.

The ideal candidate can take a project brief, conduct reliable research, ask smart questions, and turn complex or technical information into content that is easy to understand. You should know how to adjust your writing based on the audience, channel, and purpose of each project. An educational article should not sound like an advertisement, and a video script should not sound like a brochure.

You should be comfortable writing across both short-form and long-form formats, including:

- Website pages and landing pages
- Educational and search-focused articles
- Sales and marketing emails
- Social media posts
- Video scripts
- Google Search and digital advertising copy
- Brochures, sell sheets, and sales materials
- Presentation and webinar copy
- Customer communications
- Headlines, calls to action, and campaign messaging

Strong editing and proofreading skills are essential. You must be able to review your own work carefully for grammar, clarity, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements. Attention to details such as character limits, word counts, formatting instructions, citations, and brand voice is important.

Experience writing search-engine-optimized content is preferred. You should understand how to incorporate keywords naturally, organize articles for readability, write effective titles and headings, and balance search performance with a strong reader experience.

This role may involve writing about workplace first aid, safety, healthcare-related products, training, and other topics where accuracy matters. You do not need to be a medical expert, but you must be comfortable conducting research, using reputable sources, citing information when appropriate, and avoiding unsupported claims.

We are looking for someone who writes in a natural, human voice. Our preferred style is clear, direct, confident, and conversational. We want content that sounds like it was written by a knowledgeable person who genuinely wants to help the reader, not a legal document, generic marketing copy, or an aggressive salesperson.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a senior writer who can work independently, manage multiple assignments, make strong editorial decisions, and consistently produce polished work. You should be open to feedback and comfortable revising content based on input from marketing, sales, operations, and company leadership.

Strong English communication, organization, reliability, responsiveness, and the ability to meet deadlines are required.

This is a full-time position for someone looking for consistent, long-term work with one company. We are not looking for an agency, content mill, or part-time freelancer. We are looking for an individual writer who can become a trusted member of our marketing team.

The use of artificial intelligence tools is permitted when appropriate, but all submitted work must be carefully researched, fact-checked, edited, and improved by you. We are not looking for someone who submits unedited AI-generated content. You will be responsible for the accuracy, originality, tone, and overall quality of everything you produce.

We are located in New York, United States, and operate on Eastern Time (ET, UTC/GMT -4). Full overlap with our time zone is not required, but we would like at least a few hours of overlap with our team each day.

This role will be required to use the TimeProof application to track and log all hours worked. Payments will be processed weekly through Payoneer for all hours worked during that week.
