About the Role:
I'm looking for a reliable long-form video editor to turn raw footage into polished, engaging videos on a consistent basis. This is an ongoing opportunity for the right person — if you do great work and communicate honestly, there's steady, recurring work here.
What You'll Do:
Edit long-form video content from rough footage into finished, ready-to-publish videos
Cut dead space, tighten pacing, and keep the viewer engaged from start to finish
Add clean transitions, on-screen text, callouts, zooms, and basic motion graphics
Sync and balance audio, remove filler, and ensure clear, professional sound
Follow direction and incorporate revision notes efficiently
Requirements:
Camtasia experience is REQUIRED. You must be genuinely proficient in Camtasia — this is non-negotiable, and I will ask you to demonstrate it.
Proven experience editing long-form video (please share your portfolio or sample work)
Strong sense of pacing and storytelling for retention
Reliable, communicative, and able to hit agreed deadlines
Honesty is essential. Please only claim skills and experience you actually have. I verify credentials and test skills before and during work. Misrepresenting your abilities or experience is grounds for immediate termination. If you're upfront about what you can and can't do, we'll get along great.
How to Apply
Please include:
A short intro about yourself and your editing experience
Confirmation of your Camtasia proficiency
Links to your portfolio or 2–3 relevant samples of long-form work you've edited
Your typical turnaround time.
In the beginning of your Intro please use the word "YouTube" so I know you have read the entire job posting.
