Ice Cream Sunshine is a good vibes signature ice cream tour and special events company based in Chicago. Good vibes, excellence, and fun are the core of who we are — and that extends to every person on our team.

We are growing our content team and hiring a long-term Video Editor who loves being part of a collaborative, creative team and is ready to help us tell our story across our socials. If you bring 2–4 years of professional video editing experience, a strong portfolio of current YouTube, TikTok, IG, and additional social content, and a true passion for taking raw footage and creating extraordinary videos — let's connect.


WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will work within our creative pre-production process and own the on-time delivery of fully edited, publish-ready videos — sound, captions, color grading, and everything needed to hit publish. This is a long-term, ongoing remote position with real creative opportunity.

- Edit shorts, longs, and reels across platforms
- Cut, color, caption, and package footage for each platform
- Deliver content on time, every time
- Maintain our brand voice — warm, bright, fun, high energy, good vibes

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You bring 2–4 years of professional video editing experience with a strong, real-world portfolio to back it up. You know how to turn raw footage into content that stops the scroll and holds attention. You've worked across short-form and long-form formats, and your instincts for pacing, story, and retention show it. You're ready to bring that expertise to a fast-growing, good-vibes brand.

- 2–4 years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio that proves it
- Portfolio must include published pieces: short-form and long-form, ideally with visible performance (views, retention, watch-through)
- Editing instincts that lead to strong retention rates
- Excellent storytelling instincts — you know what makes people watch to the end
- Reliable, communicative, and self-directed; thrives in a collaborative team while working independently to achieve benchmarks

WHAT WE OFFER

- $6–$9/hr USD + bonus potential based on meeting metics
*Note: This is a starting rate with scheduled compensation reviews in 2026 and 2027.
