PR Manager

Do you love reaching out to publications and media to get mentions, stories, guest posts and other placements?

Do you want to put together podcasts, webinars and in-person US events to raise the company’s visibility?

If this is you, we want to talk! Tempesta Media, a leader in the US residential home services marketing technology industry for the past 15 years, is launching a groundbreaking new AI-powered platform for homeowners and contractors. This is really cutting-edge stuff!

We’re seeking a talented PR Manager to build the company’s brand authority. This includes:
• Media list development and outreach
• Publication outreach and placement
• Website guest post outreach
• Podcast guest appearance booking
• Booking speaking opportunities for the company
• Awards applications and more.

This is a 100% remote position that will require some overlap with US hours – Chicago – Central Time (-06:00 GMT) for meetings, events, training, etc. The position is a part-time position that has the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

You must have a reliable home office setup:
• Computer with at least 8GB of RAM (16GB+ preferred)
• High-resolution camera and noise-canceling microphone
• High-speed Internet access of at least 100MB down

The performance of this role will be measured on the following growth, engagement and bottom-funnel performance. The compensation will be a combination of salary and performance- and milestone-based bonuses.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• At least 2 years of B2B PR experience.
• At least 1 year of experience pitching journalists.
• At least 1 year of experience with securing speaking and guest appearance opportunities.
• US PR experience is required.
• US home services experience is a huge plus, but not required.
• A track record of quantifiable results.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in a small company.
