Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled freelance Klaviyo specialist with a strong background in e-mail marketing for e-commerce brands. You will collaborate closely with our performance marketing team to build revenue-driving e-mail systems — from foundational flows to advanced segmentation and customer lifecycle strategies.
Responsibilities
Account Analysis & Strategy Development:
Conduct a structured initial audit of the Klaviyo account (flow performance, list quality, segmentation status, revenue attribution) as the basis for all further measures
Derive a prioritized optimization roadmap from the analysis results — with a clear assessment of effort, expected revenue impact, and implementation order
Identify the biggest levers per account (e.g., underperforming flows, unused segments, lifecycle gaps) instead of addressing every issue at once
Regularly re-analyze and adjust the roadmap based on flow and campaign performance
Email
Build and optimize all core Klaviyo flows (Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Win-Back, Sunset, etc.)
Develop segment-specific flows tailored to distinct customer groups — beyond one-size-fits-all automations
Set up advanced segmentation logic, conditional splits, and trigger-based automations
A/B test flow structures, messaging angles, and send timing systematically
Customer Reactivation & Segmentation:
Analyze the existing customer base and develop a structured segmentation and clustering framework (RFM, behavioral, lifecycle-based)
Identify reactivation potential within dormant segments and build dedicated win-back strategies
Develop and manage segment-specific flow architectures that speak to each cluster individually
LTV & CLV Strategy:
Evaluate and track Customer Lifetime Value and LTV metrics on a segment level
Derive hypotheses and concrete optimization measures to increase CLV over time
Collaboration & Workflow:
Work and communicate via ClickUp
Execute tasks based on detailed briefs and independently manage your own workload
Contribute strategic input beyond pure execution

Proven, advanced experience with Klaviyo — core flows are table stakes, we are looking for the next level
Deep understanding of customer segmentation, clustering logic, and lifecycle marketing
Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in LTV/CLV analysis and optimization
Ability to translate data into structured hypotheses and actionable flow strategies
Experience building segment-specific flow architectures for e-commerce brands
Familiarity with ClickUp or willingness to work with it
Reliable, structured working style with proactive communication
