About the role
We don't hire to fill seats. We hire A players who want to grow, contribute, and be part of building something.
We're looking for a Social Media and Content VA who creates content that actually stops the scroll. Someone with at least 3 years of experience across multiple platforms, a sharp eye for what works, and the ability to use AI tools to make a real difference to content output, not just someone who knows how to write a prompt.
This role starts at 25 hours per week. For the right person it becomes full time. We're not looking for someone who wants to stay comfortable. We want someone who thinks outside the box, pushes themselves, and is always looking to learn and do better. If that's you, this is worth your time.
You'll be managing content across 9 accounts including 7 client accounts, DCB Digital's own brand, and the Directors' personal social media accounts across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You'll post 3 times per week across all accounts with content adapted and optimised for each platform rather than copy and pasted.

Every piece of content has a reason behind it. We don't post for the sake of posting. We post to build audiences, drive engagement, and get results for our clients. We expect you to understand the why behind every piece of content you create, not just execute a brief.
We want someone who comes with ideas, stays across trends, and brings something to the table every single week without being asked.

What you'll be doing
Content creation

Creating engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube for 9 accounts
Posting 3 times per week across all accounts with content adapted and optimised for each platform
Editing short-form video for Reels, TikTok, and Stories using CapCut, InShot, and AI-assisted tools
Designing graphics and branded social assets in Canva across multiple client brands
Writing captions that are on-brand, engaging, and suited to each platform and audience
Using AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to genuinely improve content quality, speed, and output
Staying across platform trends and applying them quickly and creatively
Building and growing DCB Digital's own brand presence across all platforms
Managing and growing the Directors' personal social media accounts

Social media management

Managing content calendars across all 9 accounts
Scheduling and publishing content via Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite
Monitoring account performance and adjusting content strategy based on what the data shows
Pulling engagement and performance reports using analytics tools and flagging what's working and what's not
Tracking outcomes and reporting results to the Directors in a clear and useful format
Growing client accounts organically through smart content strategy and engagement tactics
Active community management including responding to comments and DMs across all accounts

Strategy and ideation

Bringing fresh content ideas to the table weekly without being prompted
Identifying trends early and knowing how to make them work for each client brand
Reviewing performance data and making recommendations to improve results
Keeping each client brand looking and sounding distinct across all platforms
Thinking outside the box and pushing creative boundaries for every client
Recommending and setting up the right analytics tools to track outcomes properly


Tools you'll need to know

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube (creation and management)
CapCut, InShot, and AI video editing tools
Canva and basic graphic design
Later, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite
Zoho (primary platform)
GoHighLevel (transitioning away, familiarity a bonus)
Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, used properly, not just for prompting
Google Workspace including Google Drive
Social media analytics tools
Slack


What we need from you

Minimum 3 years experience in social media content creation and management (non-negotiable)
Proven experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously across all major platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Experience managing and growing personal brand accounts for Directors or executives
Strong video editing skills using CapCut and InShot for short-form content
Someone who actually knows how to use AI to make a real difference to content output. Not someone who knows how to write a prompt in ChatGPT. Someone who understands how to use AI tools to produce better content, faster, at a higher standard, and is always looking for new ways to push what's possible
Comfortable working within and across different client brand guidelines and keeping each brand sounding and looking like itself
Strong written English, your captions and copy need to be sharp and error free
Someone who understands what makes content perform, not just what makes it look good
Highly creative with a strong eye for design, trends, and audience behaviour
Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to track, report, and act on performance data
Highly organised and able to manage multiple client content calendars simultaneously
Comfortable working in Zoho and picking up new platforms quickly
Someone who thinks outside the box and brings fresh ideas without being prompted
A genuine hunger to learn, grow, and push beyond what's expected
Someone who brings ideas and energy to the work every week without being chased
Available for 25 hours per week with the drive to grow into full time
