# Digital Marketing & Growth Executive – Travel Industry
We are looking for a creative, organised and commercially minded **Digital Marketing & Growth Executive** to join our growing travel company on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is not a direct sales position, and it is not limited to creating brochures, graphics or social media posts.
The main purpose of the role is to help Enrico Travel generate more qualified enquiries, increase bookings, strengthen customer engagement and improve the measurable results of our marketing activities.
You will work closely with the Manager and sales team, taking ownership of marketing campaigns from the initial idea through to creation, launch, follow-up and performance review.
The success of this role will be measured not only by the quality and consistency of our marketing content, but also by the enquiries, bookings, revenue and customer growth generated through our campaigns.
## Key Responsibilities
### Marketing Strategy and Campaign Planning
* Creating and managing a structured monthly and seasonal marketing calendar.
* Proactively suggesting new marketing ideas, campaigns, promotions, events and collaborations.
* Identifying which destinations, tours, cruises, group departures and seasonal offers should be promoted and when.
* Planning campaigns from the initial concept through to design, publication, advertising, enquiry follow-up and results analysis.
* Working with management and the sales team to understand business priorities, availability, sales targets and products requiring additional promotion.
* Researching travel trends, customer interests, competitor activity and new marketing opportunities.
### Graphic Design and Content Creation
* Designing professional brochures, flyers, advertisements, proposals and promotional material using Canva.
* Creating engaging content for
* Creating and editing Reels, Stories and short promotional videos using CapCut or similar software.
* Writing clear and engaging captions, campaign messages,
* Ensuring all marketing material remains accurate, professional and consistent with the Enrico Travel brand.
* Organising photographs, videos, templates, supplier material and other marketing assets.
* Requesting and collecting suitable content, testimonials, photographs and videos from the team, clients, suppliers and tour leaders where appropriate.
### Social Media and Digital Marketing
* Managing, scheduling and publishing social media content consistently.
* Setting up, monitoring and improving Meta advertising campaigns.
* Creating suitable audiences, advertising creatives and campaign messages.
* Managing advertising budgets responsibly.
* Monitoring campaign reach, engagement, enquiries, cost per lead and overall campaign performance.
* Supporting Google Business Profile, Google reviews, website analytics, Google Ads and search visibility where required.
* Using AI tools such as ChatGPT to develop ideas, improve content and increase productivity.
### Website Management and Conversion Improvement
* Regularly updating the company website with new holidays, cruises, tours, group departures, events, prices and promotional content.
* Ensuring website information remains accurate, current and visually appealing.
* Creating or updating landing pages for specific campaigns and offers.
* Reviewing website pages to improve calls to action and encourage more enquiries.
* Checking that enquiry forms and campaign pages work correctly on desktop and mobile.
* Removing or updating expired offers and outdated content.
* Supporting basic search engine optimisation and improving online visibility.
* Reviewing website traffic and identifying which pages and offers generate the most interest and enquiries.
### Lead Generation and Conversion Tracking
* Monitoring enquiries generated through social media, the website, advertisements,
* Recording where each enquiry originated.
* Tracking the progress of marketing-generated enquiries from initial contact to quotation and confirmed booking.
* Following up internally with the relevant sales tea
* Monitoring how many enquiries progress to quotations, bookings and completed sales.
* Identifying reasons why enquiries or quotations may not be converting.
* Working with the sales team to understand customer feedback, common requests, objections and reasons for lost bookings.
* Recommending improvements to campaigns, offers, messaging or follow-up processes.
* Supporting the introduction and management of a simple lead-tracking or CRM process.
The role will support the sales team by generating and tracking opportunities. The sales team will remain responsible for preparing quotations, communicating directly with clients and closing bookings.

* Preparing and sending newsletters and promotional
* Helping organise and segment the customer database according to travel interests and previous bookings.
* Creating targeted campaigns for previous clients and different customer groups.
* Developing ideas to encourage repeat bookings, referrals and customer loyalty.
* Supporting post-travel communication, review requests and re-engagement campaigns.
* Promoting relevant future holidays to existing clients.
* Monitoring
### Partnerships, Influencers and Events
* Supporting influencer collaborations and ensuring agreed content and campaign actions are completed.
* Researching suitable partnerships with local businesses, suppliers and organisations.
* Suggesting competitions, travel events, presentations, community activities and promotional opportunities.
* Exploring joint marketing opportunities with airlines, cruise companies, hotels, tourism boards and destination partners.
* Identifying supplier marketing support, cooperative advertising opportunities and available promotional material.
### Reporting and Performance
* Preparing clear weekly or monthly marketing reports.
* Reporting on campaigns launched, content published and advertising expenditure.
* Monitoring qualified enquiries, quotations, confirmed bookings and revenue linked to marketing activity.
* Tracking cost per enquiry, conversion rates and return on advertising spend.
* Reviewing website activity,
* Identifying what worked, what did not work and what should be improved.
* Recommending the next marketing priorities based on actual results.
Performance will be evaluated using commercial and marketing indicators such as:
* Qualified enquiries generated
* Number of quotations resulting from campaigns
* Enquiry-to-booking conversion
* Sales revenue connected to marketing campaigns
* Advertising cost per enquiry
* Return on advertising spend
* Website traffic and completed enquiry forms

* Growth of the customer database
* Repeat bookings, reviews and referrals
Followers, likes and the number of posts published will not be the only measures of success.
### Accuracy and Brand Protection
* Checking travel dates, prices, inclusions, exclusions and promotional details before publication.
* Ensuring advertised prices are clearly presented and correctly marked as “from” prices where applicable.
* Making sure mandatory notes, terms and disclaimers are included.
* Coordinating with the team when prices, availability or offer details change.
* Removing expired or unavailable promotions promptly.
* Respecting data protection, customer privacy and marketing consent requirements.
* Ensuring photographs, videos and customer content are used appropriately and with the required permission.
## We Are Looking for Someone Who
* Has excellent written English and strong attention to spelling and detail.
* Has strong Canva and graphic design skills.
* Has experience managing business social media accounts.
* Has basic video editing skills using CapCut or similar software.
* Understands that marketing should generate measurable business results, not only attractive content.
* Can contribute original ideas and does not wait to be given every task.
* Has experience with Meta Ads Manager, digital advertising or lead-generation campaigns.
* Understands basic campaign tracking, conversion rates and marketing performance.
* Is comfortable working with reports, spreadsheets, website analytics and lead information.
* Is organised and able to manage several campaigns, projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Is commercially aware, proactive and results-focused.
* Can work independently while communicating closely with management and the sales team.
* Is comfortable following up internally and ensuring agreed actions are completed.
* Pays close attention to prices, dates, inclusions and travel information.
* Is willing to test new ideas, review results and improve future campaigns.
* Is comfortable receiving feedback and revising designs or campaigns when required.
* Wants to build a long-term career and grow with the company.
Experience within the travel, tourism or hospitality industry would be considered an advantage, but it is not essential.
