Most customs roles ask you to file. This one asks you to lead.

F5 Global Talent is hiring a Customs Clearance Manager to take full ownership of a 5-person offshore customs operations team. This role is for someone with deep hands-on Canadian customs clearance experience who can manage people, review filings, correct issues, approve shipments, and keep the operation compliant from end to end.

You will lead the team, assign daily work, review Canadian customs filings before release, and make sure quality, productivity, and compliance stay on track.

What You’ll Do
Lead and manage a 5-person customs operations team
Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily customs clearance work
Review, correct, and approve Canadian customs filings before shipment release
Ensure filings are accurate, compliant, and properly documented
Support HS/HTS code classification using the CBSA Customs Tariff
Coach tea ---------- mbers, correct mistakes, and hold the team accountable
Track team quality, productivity, and turnaround times
Take ownership of compliance, workflow, and operational performance from end to end

What We’re Looking For

Deep hands-on Canadian customs clearance experience
Strong knowledge of CBSA processes and B3 filings
Strong HS/HTS code classification skills using the CBSA Customs Tariff
Proven team leadership experience managing people, not just processes
Ability to review and correct customs filings with accuracy and confidence
Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to coach, prioritize, and hold a team accountable
Availability to work U.S. business hours from India or the Philippines

Nice to Have
Experience managing offshore teams
Experience leading customs clearance or logistics operations teams
Experience improving filing quality, compliance, or turnaround times
Familiarity with customs documentation, shipment release workflows, and escalation handling

Important Note
This is a leadership role for someone with real Canadian customs clearance expertise. We are looking for a hands-on manager who can lead a team, review and approve filings, correct mistakes, and own compliance — not just an individual customs filer.
