JOB OVERVIEW

I run a YouTube channel about the creator economy. I need an editor for weekly long-form videos (10 to 15 minutes) and short clips cut from them for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
The work:

Edit long-form talking-head videos: remove filler words and long pauses, add b-roll and screen recordings where I'm explaining something, add text on screen for key points and numbers
Cut 4 to 6 short clips from each long video for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts (vertical, captioned)
Deliver on a weekly schedule

How I'll show you the style: If shortlisted, I'll send you 2 sample videos to copy exactly, plus a one-page guide for captions, text, and b-roll. You don't need to guess the style. You need to match the reference closely. That's the main skill I'm hiring for.
You're a fit if you:

Have edited talking-head or education videos before (not just weddings or events). Send 2 or 3 examples.
Can copy a reference video's style closely
Hit deadlines without me following up

Bonus (optional, extra income):
If you know Higgsfield (Nano Banana for images plus adding motion to make a consistent AI avatar), there's a second opportunity. I have a separate project making short AI-avatar videos to promote affiliate products. This is paid on commission: you earn a cut of every sale your videos drive, tracked with your own link, on top of your editing pay. No cap on it. If you don't know Higgsfield, ignore this and just apply for the editing role.
If you do want in, in your application send one AI avatar clip you've made (or make a quick test one) and tell me which tools you used.

To apply:

Put MATCHA in the subject line so I know you read this
Send 2 or 3 videos you've edited
Tell me your rate per short clip and per long video, and your turnaround time

Shortlisted editors get a small paid test: I send raw footage plus a reference video, you match it. Best match gets ongoing weekly work.
