BabyBub is a low 8-figure maternity e-commerce brand with repeat purchase products. Email and retention are a major growth channel for us, and we're looking for someone who has already done this at a bigger scale — not someone growing into it.
What you'll do:
- Own our full Klaviyo email lifecycle: welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, winback, VIP, sunset
- Build retention strategy around our repeat purchase products
- Campaign planning, segmentation, A/B testing, and performance reporting
- Come to us with recommendations based on data, not wait to be told what to send
Who this is for:
You've personally managed email marketing for e-commerce brands doing more revenue than we currently do, not a portfolio of small accounts, one brand where you owned meaningful email revenue. You're either a solo freelancer with a small client roster, or you run a small team where you personally remain the strategist and point of contact. That doesn't change here. This is not an agency role where we get handed off to someone junior if you delegate strategy or campaign builds to junior staff, this isn't a fit.
To apply:
Answer all of the following. Applications missing any answer, or with vague/unquantified answers, won't be considered.
1. What was the total annual revenue of the largest e-commerce brand you have personally managed? Give an approximate figure, and describe your exact role and level of responsibility.
2. How much annual revenue was generated specifically through email marketing (Klaviyo or similar) for that brand? Approximate figures are fine and also tell us what percentage of total revenue that represents.
3. What were your primary responsibilities for that email program? (Strategy, campaigns, flows/automations, segmentation, A/B testing, reporting, team management, be specific.)
4. Share your strongest email marketing case study: industry/niche, brand revenue, email revenue before you started, what you changed, results achieved, and timeframe.
