Bookkeeper (QuickBooks) - US Tax & Payroll
Location: 100% Remote (Philippines)

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise to support a growing US-based business operating across multiple companies.
In this role, you will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, account reconciliations, and financial reporting while maintaining accurate and organized financial records. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of the books, can work independently, and is comfortable managing multiple businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
- Record, categorize, and maintain accurate financial transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card accounts across multiple companies.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Handle full-cycle US payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and CPA requests.
- Maintain organized financial records across multiple businesses.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve bookkeeping issues proactively.

- Gusto, ADP, or QuickBooks Payroll

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
- At least 2 years of professional QuickBooks experience.
- Experience supporting US-based businesses.
- Experience processing US payroll.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, and month-end procedures.
- Experience managing bookkeeping for multiple companies is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with business owners, vendors, insurance companies, and external partners.
Washington State Experience (Preferred):
Experience with any of the following is an advantage
- Washington State B&O Tax
- Washington State Sales Tax
- Labor & Industries (L&I)
- Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML)
- Unemployment Insurance
- Washington State payroll compliance
Applicants without Washington State experience are still encouraged to apply if they have strong US bookkeeping and payroll experience.
