Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary contact for patients via phone,
* Conduct patient intake, collect clinical and administrative information, and guide patients through onboarding processes.
* Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups.
* Assist with insurance verification, authorizations, and administrative support for clinical teams.
* Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in EHR, CRM, and other systems.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of experience in medical offices, patient access, virtual assistance, or healthcare operations.
* Medical or social service professional background preferred (doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, Behavioral Health Specialists, Psychometricians, Psychologists, and other social service practitioners encouraged).
* Excellent English communication skills with professional phone presence; prior experience calling medical offices, healthcare settings, or handling B2B outbound calls.
* Detail check: At the top of your
* HIPAA compliance experience and familiarity with EHRs, scheduling platforms, patient portals, and telehealth systems.
* Reliable home office setup (quiet environment, PC, headset, high-speed internet) and ability to work during U.S. daytime hours.
