JOB OVERVIEW

About Us

We are a fast-growing U.S.-based e-commerce company that sells millions of dollars of products every year on Amazon. We work directly with brands and distributors across many product categories and are looking for a detail-oriented Product Research Analyst to join our purchasing team.

Your job is simple: analyze distributor price lists and determine which products we should purchase.

This is not a sales position. You will spend your day researching products, analyzing data, and helping our buyers make better purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities
Analyze distributor price lists containing hundreds or thousands of products.
Research products using Amazon and our internal software.
Calculate profitability, ROI, and estimated margins.
Estimate monthly sales volume.
Recommend how many units should be purchased with a goal of selling through inventory in approximately 30 days.
Flag products with pricing issues, restrictions, or other concerns.
Organize findings in Google Sheets and Excel.
Work closely with our purchasing team to prioritize buying opportunities.
Maintain high accuracy while processing large amounts of product data.
Requirements
Excellent English communication.
Strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets.
Experience using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Fast learner with good analytical skills.
Reliable internet connection and computer.
Able to work independently and ask questions when needed.
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience researching Amazon products.
Experience using Keepa, SellerAmp, RevSeller, SmartScout, or similar Amazon research software.
Experience working with wholesale or e-commerce businesses.
What Success Looks Like

Within your first few weeks, you should be able to:

Review hundreds of products each day.
Identify profitable buying opportunities.
Recommend purchase quantities based on expected monthly sales.
Produce accurate work with minimal supervision.
Compensation

This is a long-term, part-time position with opportunities for growth as our purchasing department expands. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications with monthly bonuses based on performance
