JOB OVERVIEW

Rebel X Brands runs several DTC brands in the gray market / restricted-category space — functional botanicals (kratom, kava) and alcohol-alternative products. Standard marketing playbooks don't work here, so compliance-aware thinking is non-negotiable.

We already have the team — social media manager, graphic designers, SEO, developers, and a sales team. What we're missing is one strategist who can build the systems, lead that team, and drive measurable revenue across every brand.

This is not a generic coordinator role. We need someone who understands each marketing area well enough to set direction in it, who looks at the analytics and numbers to find where we're leaking efficiency, and who turns that into a plan the team executes.

What you'll own
1. Build the systems — repeatable processes for content, campaigns, launches, and reporting across all brands
2. Lead the team — direct the social media manager, designers, SEO, and devs; assign work, set timelines, hold people accountable
3. Drive the numbers — read analytics across channels, spot inefficiencies, and reallocate effort toward what actually drives revenue and retention
4. Coordinate marketing with sales on promos and launches

Areas you'll set direction across

· Shopify (storefronts, product pages, offers, CRO)
· SEO (content + technical backend)
· Email & SMS (flows, campaigns, retention)

· paid acquisition

You don't have to personally execute every piece — but you need enough command of each to direct it and judge whether it's working.

What we need from you
- A strategist, not a generalist — proven track record building full marketing systems, not just running one channel
- Strong analytical skill — comfortable living in the data (traffic, conversion, CAC, LTV) and making decisions from it
- AI-savvy — actively using AI tools to work faster, test more, and scale output across content, creative, and analysis
- Experience in restricted/gray-market industries (supplements, CBD, kratom/kava, alcohol alternatives, or similar) and compliance-aware advertising
- Real leadership — able to guide and hold a team accountable, not just execute solo

What success looks like
- A repeatable system where every brand's marketing runs on schedule, paid runs without constant shutdowns, conversion improves across the funnel, email/SMS and community pull real weight — and revenue and retention grow measurably, quarter over quarter.
