ServiceM8 Virtual Assistant Wanted – Norwest Appliance Service (Sydney)
Schedule: Sydney Business Hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST)

G’day! We are Norwest Appliance Service, a friendly, established appliance repair company based in Sydney, Australia. We pride ourselves on top-notch service and an easygoing, supportive team culture.
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and sharp Virtual Assistant to become the backbone of our daily operations.
CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: You MUST have prior experience using ServiceM8. Please do not apply if you have never used this platform, as your application will not be considered.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
As our VA, you will handle a mix of customer service, scheduling, and general admin to keep our business running smoothly. Your daily tasks will include:
Customer Service & Support: Answering inbound customer calls, managing live chat support, responding to
Job Management: Scheduling and dispatching jobs seamlessly using ServiceM8, keeping detailed notes, and updating customer files.
Operations & Logistics: Accessing supplier/agent online portals, and contacting suppliers via phone and
Sales & Growth: Handling quotes, gathering necessary job details, cold calling, and assisting with basic marketing tasks.
Reporting & Admin: Generating business reports and assisting the Business Director with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
What We Need (Requirements)
Software Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience using ServiceM8 is mandatory.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in the appliance servicing, repairs, or trade/construction industry is highly preferred.
Communication: Exceptional English skills (both written and spoken) with a friendly, professional phone manner and fast, accurate typing skills for live chat support.
Work Environment Fit: Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work efficiently under pressure when booking volumes get high.
Tech Setup: A reliable computer and headset, a high-speed internet connection, backup power/internet options, and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
Availability: Must be able to work during Sydney business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST).
Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, reliable, resilient, and capable of multitasking seamlessly between live phone calls and chat queues.
