JOB OVERVIEW

We're a startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area, building AI agents, and we're hiring a full-time, long-term AI Engineer in the Philippines — and we'll train you. You don't need prior experience with our specific tools; if you're smart, analytical, and a great communicator, we'll teach you everything else.

From day one, you'll work on real projects with real clients — not practice exercises. You'll also be joining our existing team in the Philippines, so you'll have teammates and support as you ramp up.

The technical work is very learnable. So we're optimizing for two things: a genuine technical/analytical mind, and outstanding English. You'll be building, testing, and improving AI agents that interact with real people, so clear, confident communication matters as much as your problem-solving.

This role is for you if you want:

You're a strong fit if you have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Graduated from a top Philippine university (UP, Ateneo, De La Salle, UST — or tell us where you studied and why you're exceptional)
- Excellent spoken and written English — you can hold a natural conversation and write clearly
- Strong asynchronous communication skills — you write clearly, keep your team updated, and can work independently across time zones
- Comfort with logic, problem-solving, and figuring out new tools from documentation

- No graveyard shifts — we work in reasonable, humane hours and rely on strong async communication rather than forcing you onto US overnight time
- A supportive team already on the ground in the Philippines that you'll be part of
