About Us

We are an Australian-owned group of businesses based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. We operate a hospitality venue and a creative marketing agency, and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to become a long-ter ---------- mber of our team.

This is not a data-entry position. We are looking for someone who understands Australian bookkeeping, enjoys solving problems, and takes ownership of keeping our financial records accurate.

Hours
Part-time (15–20 hours per week initially)
Flexible working hours
Opportunity to increase to full-time as our businesses grow
Your Responsibilities

You will work directly with the business owners and be responsible for:

Daily bank reconciliations
Xero bookkeeping and account maintenance
Reconciling Square, Lightspeed and other payment platforms
Accounts payable and receivable
Preparing supplier payments
Following up outstanding invoices
Processing receipts and expense claims
BAS preparation support (working alongside us
Payroll processing and reconciliation (Australian payroll experience preferred)
Superannuation reconciliation
Maintaining an organised digital filing system
Monthly financial reports
Identifying discrepancies before month-end
Liaising with our external accountant when required
Cash Flow reports
Budget forcasting and management
Essential Requirements

You must have:

Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience
Extensive experience using Xero
Previous experience working with Australian businesses
Strong understanding of Australian GST
Understanding of BAS preparation
Knowledge of Australian payroll and superannuation
Excellent English communication skills
High attention to detail
Stable internet connection
Quiet home office
Highly Desirable

Experience with any of the following is a major advantage:

Hospitality bookkeeping
Square POS
Lightspeed POS
Receipt Bank / Dext
Australian award payroll
Multi-business bookkeeping

Salary
