JOB OVERVIEW

StruxSure Plans, a United States company preparing permit-ready construction plan sets for post-frame buildings (pole barns, shops, garages, agricultural buildings) and foundations for pre-engineered steel buildings, is hiring a long-term remote drafter or small drafting team based in the Philippines. This is a production drafting role — all structural design, calculations, and stamping are handled by licensed professional engineers in the United States. You will prepare clean two-dimensional construction drawings in AutoCAD (floor plans, elevations, sections, framing layouts, foundation plans, anchor bolt layouts, and details) working from provided layouts, engineer markups, and our standard templates and detail libraries.

Must-haves: strong two-dimensional AutoCAD drafting skill, the ability to read and understand construction drawings, experience (or genuine comfort) drafting in imperial units (feet and inches), strong attention to detail, good written English, reliable internet, and some working-hour overlap with United States Eastern Time. Foundation drafting experience — slabs, piers, footings, anchor bolts — is a major plus, as is any experience with United States construction drawings or AutoLISP automation. You do not need experience with every software or building type we work with; we train the right person on our standards and tools.
