About DeepVista
DeepVista is an early-stage startup building the next-generation workflow and collaboration infrastructure for startup founders and business operators. We help teams turn loose notes, structured databases, and everyday tools into reliable, automated execution loops. Our skills ecosystem powers complex local and cloud execution.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Workflow and Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will primarily focus on leveraging, building, and deploying workflows using DeepVista's native tool and skills ecosystem. You will design, build, and optimize automated workflows and integrations that power both our internal operations and our customers' execution engines. You are part developer, part systems architect, and part operations expert.
Crucially, because we are early-stage, you won't just build in isolation. You will work directly with our customers to understand their unique workflow challenges, jump onto technical diagnostic and discovery calls, and co-design solutions that fit their needs.
Key Responsibilities
DeepVista Tool Mastery: Become an expert in configuring, building, and maintaining workflows, tasks, and context cards within the DeepVista platform.
System Integration: Design, build, and maintain robust integrations between core SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, HubSpot/CRMs, Slack, Stripe, GitHub) and custom internal databases/APIs.
Workflow Engineering: Build end-to-end automations that orchestrate complex multi-step tasks (e.g., lead routing, onboarding sequences, automated report generation, data synchronization).
Customer Interaction: Participate in customer technical discovery and diagnostic calls. Work directly with users to debug integration failures, scope out custom automation pipelines, and gather operational feedback.
Custom Scripting & Code: Write clean, documented code (primarily JavaScript/TypeScript or Python) to handle complex data transformations, API calls, and logic edge cases that standard no-code tools cannot resolve.
Reliability & Monitoring: Implement error handling, alerting, and logging for all critical workflows to ensure zero data loss and minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and debug broken integrations rapidly.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of system architectures, API configurations, and workflow logic to ensure team-wide legibility.
Who You Are
Tooling Experience (n8n & Make or equivalent): Hands-on, prior experience building production-grade automations in n8n and Make (Integromat) or equivalent. You understand the nodes, logic branches, and data architectures of these platforms.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. You can explain complex technical workflow concepts clearly to non-technical customers and tea
Customer-Facing Comfort: Highly comfortable jumping on video calls with users. You can translate customer pain points into operational requirements and guide them through technical onboarding.
Developer Fundamentals: Proficient in Python or Node.js/TypeScript. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON payloads, webhooks, and basic authentication protocols (OAuth2, API Keys).
Systems Thinker: You don't just patch systems together; you design clean, scalable architectures that account for edge cases, API rate limits, and failure modes.
Execution-Oriented: Comfortable moving fast in an early-stage startup environment. You prefer shipping a functional v1 automation today over planning a perfect one for next month.
What We Offer
Opportunity to build at the intersection of developer tools and automation.
High autonomy and ownership over the internal and external automation architecture.
Direct impact on product direction through customer-facing operational work.
Competitive compensation and growth trajectory in a fast-paced startup environment.
How to Apply
To apply, please submit your resume alongside a brief answer to the following question. Applications without this answer will not be reviewed:
Describe a specific production-grade automation workflow you built. What core integration challenge or API limitation did you have to overcome to make it reliable? (Max 150 words)
