JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM AT ROOTS & BRANCHES
We're hiring a designer to specialize in packaging artwork and print design. You'll be the go-to expert on our team for everything that ends up in a customer's hands physically: boxes, labels, inserts, manuals, and product artwork. This covers both brand-new designs and revisions/updates to existing packaging and artwork. You'll work alongside two other designers (each specialized in their own areas: e-commerce and marketing) and report directly to the Content Lead.

Packaging and print will be your specialty, but this is not a narrow, single-focus role: you'll regularly help the other designers with digital design work (listing images, A+ content, social/ad creative) as part of your normal workload. A well-rounded design skill set is important, expect a genuine mix of physical and digital design work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Primary focus: Packaging, Print & Product Design (new work and revisions)

- Designing new product packaging (boxes, labels, inserts) and revise/update existing packaging across our brand catalog.
- Creating and maintaining product artwork files for manufacturing (print-ready, supplier-facing specs), including updates to existing artwork.
- Designing and revising product user guides / manuals, adapting layouts for multilingual markets.
- Applying safety marks, care instructions, and certification logos to packaging designs, based on materials and specifications we provide.

Also part of the role: Digital Design
- Regularly support the wider design team with e-commerce and marketing design tasks: main images, listing images, image stacks, A+ content modules, brand stories, video editing, ad creative.
- Maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines across physical and digital design.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-haves
- Fluent English (written and spoken): the team collaborates remotely, mostly in English.
- Experience with (or genuine interest in learning) AI design tools: our designers use AI intensively as part of their daily workflow.
- Proven packaging and print production experience, with working knowledge of product design fundamentals (dielines, print specs, materials) and strong command of Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop, and/or Figma (CMYK/Pantone, bleed & trim, print-ready file prep).
- Strong understanding of brand identity: packaging needs to feel consistent and on-brand across a growing multi-brand catalog.
- Able to work full-time (40h/week) with solid overlap for team collaboration and communication.
- Strong attention to detail: packaging and label errors are costly and hard to reverse once printed.
- The ability to manage multiple assets and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

Nice-to-haves
- Comfortable adapting layouts for several European languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with e-commerce content (Amazon/Bol listing images, A+ content): useful for digital work.
- Basic video/motion design skills.

As our catalog grows, we're expanding our design team to bring dedicated packaging, print, and product design expertise in-house.

THE TEAM
You'll join a close-knit team of two other Philippines-based Multimedia Designers. You'll report to our Content Lead, based in the Netherlands, who oversees the team's briefs, priorities, and quality. Day-to-day collaboration happens remotely, so clear written and spoken communication in English is essential.
