Part Time Video Editor (Fully Remote)

Effect is a creative visual production and marketing agency working across property, energy and sustainability. We build brands, campaigns and content that move the needle for our clients. Now we're looking for a talented video editor to join the team, working fully remotely.

The role

You'll be a key part of our creative team, crafting high quality video content that brings property, energy and environmental projects to life. This is a role for someone with real editorial judgement. Choosing the right footage, shaping strong narratives, and editing with purpose.

Your work will include:

Editing property showcases, energy and environmental campaigns, client testimonials and event coverage
High-end post-production: colour grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, 3D animation and visual effects
Creating striking VFX and motion design using After Effects, 3D and VFX software, and AI-assisted platforms like Runway
Translating creative briefs into engaging visual narratives with strong pacing, rhythm and structure
Contributing fresh ideas, editing styles and visual approaches that raise the quality of our output
Maintaining organised project files and a structured asset library

You'll collaborate closely with our videographers and marketing team, with Adobe Premiere Pro as the shared editing platform.
What we're looking for

Proven experience in professional video editing and post-production, backed by a strong portfolio showing storytelling, narrative editing and advanced visual work
High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (essential for team collaboration)
Advanced skills in After Effects, 3D motion design and VFX
Strong understanding of colour correction, audio design, composition and cinematic pacing
Comfortable using AI tools and workflows to improve efficiency and enhance creativity
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Strong communication skills and confidence working within a creative team
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
A degree or diploma in film production, media or a related field, or a minimum of three years' relevant professional experience
Someone who cares about the craft as much as the deadline

Part time, around 20 hours per week, with potential to grow into full time
Fully remote
Salary dependent on experience
