JOB OVERVIEW

I'm the founder of Mailflow Authority, a US-based email deliverability and outbound infrastructure consultancy serving marketers, funded startups, and sales teams. I'm looking for a sharp, long-term teammate to help me build my personal brand on LinkedIn and want to grow with the business.

This is a "learn my voice and become my right hand" role, not a task-rabbit VA job. You'll start part-time (20 hrs/week) and, as you prove yourself, this becomes a full-time position with raises, 13th month pay, and real ownership of our marketing.
What you'll do (in priority order):

1. LinkedIn ghostwriting - Draft 3–5 posts per week in my voice on email deliverability, AI, automation, and go-to-market topics. I'll provide voice notes, rough ideas, and technical input; you turn them into engaging posts. Over time you'll learn my voice well enough to draft independently.
2. Engagement management - Keep my profile active daily: thoughtful comments on posts from founders and sales leaders in our niche, responding to comments on my posts, growing the right audience (quality over quantity).
3. DM outreach & appointment setting (phase 2, once you've learned the business) - Manage LinkedIn conversations, qualify interested prospects, and book calls on my calendar.
4. Bonus skills we'll use as you grow: GoHighLevel (funnels, automations), email marketing, basic graphic design (Canva/Claude/tools you are comfortable with).

Compensation: $400/month to start at 20 hrs/week, with performance bonuses for qualified calls booked and deals closed (details discussed in the offer). Your comp is formally reviewed at 90 days; I'd rather pay a great person more than churn through cheap hires. Long-term, this role grows into full-time with raises and 13th month pay.

You're a great fit if you:

Have excellent written English - you can write conversational, punchy LinkedIn content, not corporate fluff.

Have 1+ years of experience in ghostwriting, social media management, or content marketing (B2B/SaaS/tech niche is a big plus)

Are curious about tech topics - you don't need to be an email deliverability expert, but you need to enjoy learning technical subjects

Are proactive and honest - if something is unclear or you disagree with an approach, I want you to tell me. I value direct communication and will never make you feel bad for asking questions

Know how to use AI without sounding like AI - AI tools are completely fine here (I'll provide a subscription), but your job is to make sure every post and comment is tailored to my unique voice with zero AI giveaways. If your drafts read like ChatGPT, this isn't the role for you.

Want a long-term home, not a gig - I'm looking for someone to invest in and promote as the business grows

Schedule: Mostly flexible/async. I'm in Portland, Oregon (US Pacific time) and would like 1–2 hours of overlap with my afternoon a few days per week for check-ins.
