About Sundae Spaces
Sundae Spaces is a real estate media and marketing company based in Upstate New York. We create cinematic property content, short-form reels, listing videos, and lifestyle-focused real estate media for agents and brands.
We are looking for a senior video editor who can turn high-quality raw footage into polished, engaging, scroll-stopping real estate content.

About the Role

This role is for an experienced editor with strong taste, clean pacing, premium color, and a deep understanding of short-form social media content.

A major focus of this role will be editing real estate reels, AI staging videos, property tours, drone footage, and agent-led content. You should be comfortable working with footage shot in S-Log3 from cameras including the Sony A7S III, Sony FX3, DJI Mavic 3 Pro, and DJI Mini 5 Pro.

You should also be comfortable using AI video tools such as Higgsfield, Nano Banana, Kling, and similar platforms to create realistic AI staging videos, image-to-video clips, before-and-after transformations, and enhanced real estate visuals.
Responsibilities

Edit high-quality real estate reels, property videos, and social media content
Create AI staging videos using Higgsfield, Nano Banana, Kling, and similar tools
Color grade S-Log3 footage with a clean, natural, premium real estate look
Edit drone, gimbal, handheld, and agent talking-head footage
Build strong hooks within the first 3 seconds

Add captions, music, sound design, transitions, motion graphics, and light effects
Cut for pacing, retention, and social media performance
Maintain a consistent Sundae Spaces brand style
Organize project files and deliver edits efficiently
Communicate clearly about deadlines, feedback, and revisions
Requirements

Senior-level video editing experience (3+ Years)
Strong portfolio of cinematic, short-form, real estate, lifestyle, or social media edits
Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve
Adobe Premiere Pro experience is also acceptable
Strong color grading skills, especially with LOG footage
Experience editing vertical reels for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, shot selection, music, and retention
Experience with AI video tools, AI staging, image-to-video, or AI-assisted workflows
Strong attention to detail
Reliable internet connection and computer setup
Strong English communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Preferred Skills

Experience editing real estate, architecture, interiors, or luxury lifestyle content
Experience with drone footage and cinematic property tours
Motion graphics and clean captioning skills
Audio cleanup and sound design experience
Familiarity with social media trends and viral editing styles
Ability to take creative direction while bringing strong editing instincts
