JOB OVERVIEW

Join a remote team scaling a wholesale Amazon FBA business across the UK and EU. We’re hiring an experienced Product Research Analyst to find high-quality, profitable wholesale products that help fuel our growth.

---

About Us

We’re a fast-growing wholesale eCommerce company using Amazon FBA, focused on ambient international groceries - mainly food, plus select health and personal care items. We sell across the UK and key EU markets like Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

Our growth is driven by discovering excellent wholesale opportunities and quickly inbounding them into relevant high-performing Amazon listings. We focus on data-backed research, efficient sourcing, and strong supplier relationships - and we’re looking for a product development analyst who feels like that is the right environment for them.

---

The Role:

You will be responsible for consistently sourcing new, profitable SKUs that match our criteria from new/existing wholesale suppliers. This role is 100% focused on FBA wholesale - not arbitrage or private label.

You’ll use tools like Keepa, SmartScout, Helium10 and our own internal software to find opportunities. You will liaise directly with suppliers for pricelists/offers/catalogues, and document new SKUs ready for handoff to our supply chain team.

You’ll work directly with the business owner and our supply chain manager and be expected to produce consistently high-quality sourcing output each week.

---

Key Responsibilities

Product Research & Sourcing
- Analyse wholesale catalogues against Amazon data to identify winning SKUs
- Use a variety of sourcing techniques to produce a consistent flow of leads that meet our criteria
- Use tools like Keepa, Helium10, and SmartScout to validate demand, margin, pricing history and any red flags
- Research Amazon marketplaces to find potential brands or suppliers to add to our network
- Work with the owner to continue development of our own sourcing software to further systemise your own work

Documentation & Handover
- Fill out a product sourcing proforma (SKU, cost price, supplier details, quantity, etc.)
- Provide relevant notes on compliance (hazmat, expiry, FBA prep needs)
- Communicate clearly with the Supply Chain Manager and Owner in case of any queries

---

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Amazon FBA wholesale product research
- Proficient in Google Sheets and Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX, basic formulas, filtering)
- Advanced user of Keepa, Helium10, or SmartScout
- Strong understanding of FBA prep requirements, IP risks, and potential compliance issues
- Ability to think creatively and find new ways of sourcing products for the UK & EU Amazon marketplaces

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience sourcing grocery/FMCG SKUs (non-perishable food, health items)
- Background in sourcing for the UK and EU marketplaces

---

Ideal Candidate Traits

- Data-Driven and Analytical:
You make sourcing decisions based on real, validated data rather than instinct. You’re confident using software tools to evaluate sales rank, price history, offer count and FBA fees. You can justify your recommendations with evidence.

- Detail-Oriented and Risk-Aware:
You catch issues that others might overlook such as a product with incorrect branding, an IP complaint risk or hazmat classification. You flag risks before they cause problems.

- Clear and Proactive Communicator:
You communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers and colleagues; whether it's requesting a price list or following up for missing information. Internally, you document your findings in a way that’s easy for others to understand without clarification.

- Self-Sufficient and Ownership-Minded:
You don’t need extensive monitoring to stay productive. You can structure your own time and solve problems independently. You take personal responsibility for the quality of your sourcing. You understand that some days may produce fewer finds, but you aim for long-term weekly consistency

- Strategically Curious:
You want to understand why some products work and others don’t. You look for patterns, revisit old listings, cross-reference regions, and suggest new tactics when needed. You enjoy improving your sourcing skills.

---

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: $1,000 USD/month base + performance bonuses
- 100% Remote
- Join a fast-growing Amazon FBA business
- Learn from a team with deep experience in EU/UK wholesale
- Significant room for growth as part of a lean, high-performance team
