JOB OVERVIEW

We are growing, and we’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Construction Takeoff Specialist to support our estimating and bid management team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys reading construction drawings, working with takeoff software, and being part of a fast-moving team that values accuracy, organization, and clear communication.

This role will focus on flooring and tile takeoffs, primarily using Measure Square. You will be working from organized project files, prepared handoff notes, finish plans, schedules, and specifications provided by our internal team. You will not be expected to manage the entire estimating process alone — your main responsibility will be producing clean, accurate takeoffs that our estimator and bid team can review, price, and submit with confidence.

What you’ll be doing:

Reviewing construction drawings, finish plans, finish schedules, and project handoff notes
Tracing assigned areas in Measure Square or similar takeoff software
Applying provided material codes accurately
Measuring flooring and tile scopes, including LVP/LVT, carpet tile, VCT, ceramic/porcelain tile, rubber base, stair areas, and other Division 9 finishes
Returning organized quantity reports and saved takeoff files
Flagging unclear scope, drawing conflicts, or missing information before guessing
Communicating progress clearly and meeting agreed deadlines

Experience with flooring, tile, or Division 9 takeoffs is a plus
Measure Square experience is a big plus
