Why this role is a real opportunity
This is a long-term position with a growing Canadian healthcare company. The right person will have direct access to leadership, genuine ownership of the brand's digital voice, and a clear path to full-time hours as Prescare scales. We pay based on what you bring, not a fixed ceiling.
Be clear-eyed about what you're walking into
Prescare's social media is in early stages — a small following and very few posts so far. This isn't a role to manage an existing presence. It's a role to build one from the ground up for a business that's growing fast. If building something from scratch excites you, this is the right role.
Who we are
Prescare Nursing & Healthcare Staffing is a trusted provider of culturally respectful and client-focused nursing services in the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and New Brunswick. We currently support long-term care facilities and hospitals in Manitoba and are expanding into homecare services in New Brunswick and Winnipeg. In the home care aspect of the company, we serve families, seniors, and healthcare organizations across Manitoba and New Brunswick.
We provide three core services:
Home care — supporting seniors, individuals with disabilities, post-surgery recovery patients, new mothers, and palliative care families in both provinces
Healthcare staffing — placing nurses (RNs, RPNs, LPNs), and healthcare aides (HCAs) with hospitals and long-term care facilities in Manitoba
Residential cleaning — professional home cleaning services across Manitoba and New Brunswick
We are owner-operated, people-first, and known for being responsive, professional, and genuinely caring toward both clients and staff. As we grow, our mission remains the same: to provide dignified, family-centred care to those who need it most. We’re now looking for a creative, reliable, and tech-savvy Digital Marketing & Social Media Lead — Healthcare & Home Care to support our sales and marketing efforts while amplifying our presence across digital platforms.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
The core challenge: two audiences, one brand
This is the most important thing to understand about this role. Prescare's content must speak to two very different groups at the same time:
Families & clients — seniors, adult children arranging care for a parent, new mothers, individuals navigating illness or disability. They need warmth, clarity, and trust — not sales language.
Healthcare professionals — nurses and healthcare aides in Manitoba evaluating staffing agencies. They need to see professionalism, reliability, and a team that respects their work.
The ability to write and create content that speaks authentically to both without confusing either is one of the most important skills for this role.
