JOB OVERVIEW

PRODUCT RESEARCHER

We are a US-based e-commerce company operating a growing portfolio of subscription brands (12+ live brands, launching 2 new brands every month). Every new brand starts with one decision: what product it sells. That decision is this job.

You will be part of our New Build Team — a small 4-person team that takes brands from zero to launched. You find and validate the product. Our brand designer, product specialist, and web developer build everything around your pick.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Research and source product opportunities (AliExpress, supplier catalogs, trend research, competitor analysis)
- Run every candidate through our validation checklist: demand signal, profit margin at target retail price, subscription fit, supplier availability
- Recommend ONE product per launch slot with clear reasoning, and write short "kill memos" explaining why the other candidates lost
- Keep a pipeline of researched candidates ready so we never miss a launch
- Work with our on-the-ground supplier team to confirm availability and costs

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Experience with e-commerce product research (dropshipping, Shopify, or Amazon research backgrounds all welcome)
- You can commit to a recommendation and defend it with numbers — this role bets real launch budgets on your picks
- Comfortable with spreadsheets (Google Sheets)
- Strong written English
- Organized, self-directed, and consistent — we launch on a schedule, not on inspiration
