Project Overview

We're looking for a freelance Website Editor to help improve and optimise our website. This is initially a one-off project, but there is potential for ongoing work as we continue to develop and grow the site.

We're looking for someone who has a good eye for detail, understands user experience and SEO, and is comfortable implementing website improvements and integrations.

Scope of Work

The project may include:

Editing and updating existing website pages.
Creating or improving landing pages.
Installing and configuring API integrations and third-party plugins.
Embedding social media galleries and feeds.
Adding and displaying Google Reviews throughout the website.
Improving on-page SEO, including:
Meta titles and descriptions
Headings and page structure
Internal linking
Image optimisation and alt text
Keyword optimisation
Checking mobile responsiveness and making improvements where needed.
Identifying opportunities to improve website performance and user experience.
Testing all changes before publishing.
What We're Looking For
Experience editing websites using platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or similar.
Understanding of SEO best practices.
Experience working with plugins and API integrations.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a bonus.
Ability to work independently and communicate progress clearly.
