Money Merch is a rapidly growing apparel manufacturing company specializing in screen printing, embroidery, fulfillment, and custo ---------- rchandise for brands of all sizes. We are looking for an experienced Outbound Sales Development Manager to build and lead our outbound sales department from the ground up.

This is not simply a management position. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating systems, building teams, improving processes, and driving measurable sales growth.

As our first Outbound Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing our outbound sales strategy, implementing the technology stack, hiring and managing SDRs, developing KPIs, and building a scalable lead generation engine that consistently feeds qualified opportunities to our sales team.

Position Summary

The Outbound Sales Development Manager will own the entire outbound prospecting operation.

Your first priority will be building the department. Once established, you will recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) while continuously optimizing performance through data, coaching, and process improvements.

You will work directly with the owner to build a world-class outbound sales organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Phase 1 – Build the Department

* Design our outbound sales strategy
* Create the SDR playbook and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
* Develop lead qualification standards
* Build outbound workflows
* Recommend and implement CRM best practices
* Help select and implement outbound sales tools
* Create reporting dashboards
* Develop KPI scorecards
* Build lead routing processes
* Create outreach sequences
* Build prospect lists and ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles)
* Create call scripts
* Develop email templates
* Create LinkedIn outreach campaigns
* Build onboarding documentation
* Establish daily reporting standards
* Develop quality assurance procedures

Phase 2 – Recruit & Build the Team

* Recruit remote SDRs
* Interview candidates
* Evaluate communication skills
* Recommend hiring decisions
* Onboard new SDRs
* Train SDRs on systems and processes
* Conduct role-playing sessions
* Monitor call quality
* Coach SDRs daily
* Hold one-on-one meetings
* Create improvement plans
* Manage schedules
* Ensure team accountability

Phase 3 – Manage Performance

Monitor and improve:

* Daily activity
* Calls made
* Emails sent
* LinkedIn outreach
* Meetings booked
* Qualified opportunities
* Pipeline generated
* Conversion rates

* Appointment show rates

Provide:

* Daily reports
* Weekly performance reviews
* Monthly department reviews
* KPI dashboards
* Forecasts
* Process improvement recommendations

* 5+ years managing SDR or outbound sales teams
* Experience building outbound programs from scratch
* Experience hiring remote sales teams
