House of Nannies is a boutique, luxury childcare staffing agency serving exceptional families in New York and Connecticut — Westchester, NYC, Greenwich, the Hamptons. We were founded by a nanny, not a recruiter, and it shows in how we work: warm, personal, and thorough. Our mission is to create trusted, lasting partnerships between families and caregivers through compassion, integrity, and excellence.

Our small, close team is based in the Philippines and has been with us for years. We invest in our people, we promote from within, and we're hiring for someone who wants a **long-term home** — not a gig.

## The role

Recruiting isn't about filling roles here — it's about finding good humans for our clients' little humans. You'll be the first impression wonderful caregivers have of us, and the person who makes sure every candidate we present is genuinely exceptional.

Your day-to-day:

- **Sourcing & visibility** — post open positions on job boards (Indeed, ---------- , childcare platforms) in polished, engaging language; refresh listings weekly; keep every posting accurate and on-brand.
- **Community outreach** — engage warmly in trusted nanny groups and networks (never salesy), respond to every inquiry within 24 hours, and build our referral network.
- **Screening** — review every applicant against our standards (5+ years professional in-home experience for long-term roles, 2+ for sitters; US work eligibility; verifiable references) before they enter our pipeline.
- **Intro calls** — lead friendly first-round calls: confirm qualifications, get a first read on warmth, judgment, and fit.
- **Reference checks** — own the full reference process: outreach, structured calls, verification, and clean documentation.
- **Pipeline hygiene** — keep every candidate's status accurate and every note clear inside our platform (the Nest — our own beautiful, modern system; you'll be trained on it fully).

You'll work directly with our Operations Manager and Placements team, and report on your pipeline daily.

## Who we're looking for

- **2+ years of recruiting, HR, or staffing experience** — childcare/domestic staffing or US-client experience is a big plus
- **Excellent written and spoken English** — warm, professional, and polished; you'll be on calls with US candidates and references
- Genuinely **detail-oriented** — statuses, notes, and follow-ups never slip
- **Emotionally intelligent** — you can read people, and people feel cared for by you
- **Self-managing and reliable** — you own your pipeline without being chased
- Comfortable with tools: Google Workspace, Facebook groups, job boards; experience with a CRM/ATS or phone systems (we use Dialpad) is a plus
- **Stable internet, quiet workspace, own computer**
- Available during **US Eastern hours** and looking for a **long-term role** you can grow in
