JOB OVERVIEW

Part-time (approximately 5 - 10 hours per week to start)
Compensation: $4-8 USD/hour, depending on experience, skills and performance during the test assignment.

This is more than a typical Product Research role. We’re looking for someone who can eventually help us build the system behind our product research process.

About Us

We are a growing Dutch e-commerce company selling on ---------- , one of the largest online marketplaces in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Our goal isn’t just to find winning products—we want to build a scalable product research system that consistently identifies great opportunities for our current wellness and intimacy brand and can later be applied to future product categories.

We’re looking for someone who wants to help build that system.

The Role

This role has two stages.

We first want to understand how you think and approach product research.

If we’re impressed, you’ll help us turn that knowledge into a structured, repeatable system that our company can continue using as it grows.

What You’ll Do

Initially, you’ll:

* Identify promising products with strong potential for the ---------- marketplace.
* Analyze demand and competition.
* Explain why you selected each opportunity.
* Document your research process.

If successful, you’ll also help us:

* Create SOPs.
* Build checklists and scorecards.
* Develop research templates.
* Improve and standardize our product research workflow.

What You Bring

* Experience with product research for an e-commerce marketplace.
* Strong analytical and logical thinking.
* The ability to clearly explain your decisions.
* An organized and structured way of working.
* The ability to work independently.
* Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity.
* Enjoy building and improving systems.

Experience with Amazon product research is welcome. Experience with ---------- is a plus, but not required.

Test Assignment

Shortlisted candidates will receive a short test assignment.

You’ll be asked to identify several products that you believe have strong potential for the ---------- marketplace, explain your reasoning, and document your complete research process.

You’re free to use your own research method and preferred tools—we want to understand how you naturally approach product research.

We’re far more interested in how you think than how quickly you finish.

How We Work

* Flexible working hours.
* Work directly with the founder.
* Your ideas and improvements are genuinely valued.
* The opportunity to help build an important part of our business.
* Opportunities to grow based on your performance.

How to Apply

Please answer the following questions in your application:

1. Tell us about your product research experience.
2. Which marketplaces have you worked with?
3. Which product research tools do you use?
4. Briefly explain how you normally find a good product.
5. Have you ever created SOPs, checklists or workflows? If yes, tell us about one.
6. Why do you think you’re a good fit for this role?
7. If you have examples of previous product research, SOPs or documentation, feel free to include them.

Please include the word “Blueprint” in the title of your application.

We look forward to hearing from you.
