Solar Energy Enterprises (SEE) designs, delivers, and supports commercial and residential solar installations across Australia. We're looking for a Solar Administrator to own the compliance and admin backbone of our project lifecycle, from post-sale to the day a system is switched on and registered.
To apply for this role, we ask that you have a minimum 12 months of equivalent experience. The previous person in the role worked with us for over 5 years.
What you'll be doing:
- STC/BSTC rebate lodgement, start to finish — Formbay submissions, photo/signature follow-ups, CER approval tracking
- Xero-based financial admin — quoting, invoicing, weekly AR, daily reconciliation, supplier POs
- Post-installation admin — handover packs, welcome emails, AEMO DER registration, monitoring setup
- Supporting our Project Managers and sales team with whatever the job needs, day to day
- Managing operations leads through their full lifecycle, from signed contract to close-out
Required skills:
- Proficiency in Xero
- Experience navigating Formbay or comparable Australian solar compliance portals
- Strong written and spoken English — you'll be writing to customers and joining internal meetings
- Sharp attention to detail on compliance documents (STC/BSTC, AEMO, CCEW)
- Minimum 2 years in a similar role
- Full availability during Sydney business hours (9am–5pm AEST/AEDT)
Strongly preferred:
- Comfort in Canva
- Strong Google Drive organisation habits
Pay:
AU$6–10/hour, to be confirmed against your experience during the interview process.
Tell us about real work you've done, not generic claims. If you've processed an STC/BSTC rebate end-to-end, or handled invoicing and reconciliation in Xero, walk us through it: what the situation was, what you did, and what came of it.
