JOB OVERVIEW

About this role

I lead design across a US-based agency and a growing SaaS product. I'm looking for one skilled designer to work directly with me on product UI, web design, and brand asset work.

This is an anchor engagement, not a one-off gig. You'd get consistent weekly hours, interesting product problems, and work that ships to real users.

What you'll work on

Product UI for a B2B SaaS platform: dashboards, onboarding flows, and internal tools
Marketing and client websites designed for clean developer handoff
Helping build and maintain a Figma design system with a shared component library and token architecture
Brand asset extension work for agency clients (applying existing brand systems, not creating identities from scratch)

You're a fit if

You have 5+ years of product/UI design experience with a portfolio showing shipped SaaS product work, not just marketing sites or Dribbble concepts
You are genuinely expert in Figma: auto layout everywhere, components and variants, tokens/styles, file hygiene a dev team can build from without asking questions
You've built or worked inside design systems and know how to keep them consistent rather than reinventing patterns
You design complete work: all states (hover, empty, error, loading), responsive breakpoints, and annotations for anything not visually obvious
You communicate proactively, ask smart questions early, and can work with significant autonomy after ramp-up
Solid written English; overlap with US Central time for at least 3-4 hours/day

Work assigned through a project board with async communication as the default
Your files go to front-end dev teams, so handoff quality is graded as seriously as visual quality
