Role Overview
We are a growing Irish startup building software to improve communication between:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a strong background in software marketing.
This role is suitable for someone who understands how to market a software product to a specific audience, build awareness, generate leads, educate the market, and create a clear path for growth.
The role can be full time or part time, depending on the right candidate and their level of experience.
This is a fully remote position.

Take ownership of the marketing direction of the company
Build a clear marketing strategy for a software startup
Understand how to market SaaS or software products
Create structure, consistency, and direction across all marketing activity
Work with an existing marketing and production team
Identify the best channels to reach our audience
Help generate leads, referrals, demos, sign ups, and platform awareness
Turn complex software features into simple and clear messaging
Bring experience, ideas, and proven software marketing knowledge to the role
Team Support Available
The successful candidate will not be working alone.

Your role will be to manage the overall marketing direction, ensure the team is aligned, and make sure activity is planned, consistent, and focused on growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage the marketing strategy for the company
Create a clear marketing plan across short term and long term activity
Build campaigns to generate awareness, leads, referrals, demos, and sign ups
Identify target audiences and create messaging for each audience
Plan and manage the marketing calendar
Work with the team to plan content, campaigns, videos,
Create clear positioning for the software product
Support the development of sales material, pitch decks, brochures, and onboarding content
Review and improve website messaging and landing pages
Plan lead generation campaigns for relevant sectors and audiences
Explore new growth channels such as Reddit, LinkedIn,
Analyse marketing performance and recommend improvements
Report on key metrics such as traffic, leads, conversions, engagement, referrals, and campaign performance
Ensure all marketing activity is professional, consistent, trusted, and suitable for the market
Required Experience
Applicants must have:
Proven experience in software marketing
Previous experience working with a SaaS company, software platform, technology startup, or digital product
Strong understanding of how to market software to a defined audience
Experience creating marketing strategies for software products
Experience with B2B marketing, lead generation, content strategy,
Experience explaining complex products in a simple and compelling way
Experience managing or coordinating a wider marketing team
Experience using data and analytics to guide marketing decisions
Strong written communication skills
Strong planning and organisational skills
Ability to work remotely and manage activity independently
