JOB OVERVIEW

We're a growing gym equipment retailer based in the UK, selling through a walk-in warehouse showroom. We need someone to build our organic search presence from the ground up.

What you'll be doing:
— Creating local SEO landing pages targeting key cities within our catchment area
— Writing blog content targeting fitness and gym equipment keywords to build domain authority
— Optimising our Google Business Profile (posts, Q&A, review responses)
— Building local backlinks through directory submissions and outreach
— Monitoring Google Search Console and Analytics, reporting on progress monthly
— Writing and optimising meta titles and descriptions across the site

Requirements:
— Proven local SEO experience with examples of pages you've personally ranked
— Strong written English
— Experience with Shopify is a plus but not essential
— Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
— Familiar with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and keyword research tools

This is an ongoing role, not a one-off project. You'll have access to Shopify, Search Console, and Analytics to publish content directly.
