We are a growing group of dental practices based in Ireland, currently operating multiple clinics with further expansion underway. As we scale, we need a sharp, reliable, fully qualified accountant to take ownership of our day-to-day finance function and management reporting. You'll work directly with the operations and finance leadership and become a trusted part of a fast-moving team.
What You'll Be Doing
Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate purchase/sales ledgers
Reconciling bank statements across multiple clinic accounts
Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, variance commentary)
Building and maintaining cashflow statements and forward cashflow forecasts
Producing financial projections and budgets to support business planning and new clinic openings
Preparing financial packs and submissions for our banks (facility applications, funding reviews, periodic reporting)
Supporting month-end and year-end close, and liaising with our external accountants/auditors as needed
What We Need From You
Fully qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
Demonstrable experience working in or for the dental industry (or, at minimum, multi-site healthcare/clinical practices) — you understand associate payments, lab costs, treatment-fee structures, and clinic cost lines
Strong hands-on experience with cloud accounting software — [e.g. Xero / Sage / QuickBooks — confirm your stack]
Confident building cashflows and projections in Excel/Google Sheets, not just reporting on history
Excellent written English and clear, proactive communication
Accuracy, discretion, and the ability to own a task end-to-end without hand-holding
Reliable computer and stable internet connection
Nice to Have
Experience preparing bank/funding submissions
Familiarity with Irish accounting or VAT (training given — but a plus)
Exposure to dental practice management software (e.g. Aerona, Dentally)
How to Apply
Please reply with:
A short note on your specific experience in the dental or healthcare sector
Your accounting qualification and year obtained
The accounting software you're strongest in
Your availability and expected monthly rate
To confirm you've read this in full, start your application with the word "MOLAR". Applications without it will not be reviewed.
A couple of things to confirm before you post:
Accounting software — I've put Xero/Sage/QuickBooks as a placeholder. Tell me your actual stack and I'll tighten that line.
Dental experience — I framed it as a hard requirement with a healthcare fallback. Genuine dental-sector experience is rare on OnlineJobs.ph, so keeping the fallback widens your pool meaningfully. Want me to make it strictly dental-only instead?
Rate/hours — left blank for you to drop in
