We are looking for an experienced Cold Calling Team Lead to help us build and manage a small outbound calling team for CallBrixa.
CallBrixa is an AI receptionist service for HVAC companies in the United States. Our AI helps HVAC businesses answer missed calls, qualify leads, collect customer details, identify urgent HVAC situations, and send short call summaries to the business owner.
This is not just a regular cold calling position. We need someone who can make calls personally, manage other callers, help hire new callers, review reports, improve scripts, train the team, and give honest feedback.
At the beginning, you will manage yourself and 2 cold callers. As the team grows, you may help us hire and manage more callers.
ABOUT CALLBRIXA
CallBrixa helps HVAC companies avoid losing customers from missed calls.
Many HVAC business owners miss customer calls when they are busy, driving, working on a job, closed, or receiving calls after hours. CallBrixa answers those calls with an AI receptionist.
The AI can:
- Answer calls 24/7
- Ask what service the customer needs
- Collect the customer’s name, phone number, address, issue details, and urgency
- Identify urgent HVAC situations such as no heating, no cooling, or emergency repairs
- Send a short call summary to the business owner
- Give business owners a demo number they can call to test how the AI receptionist works
We are also adding more features soon, including Google Calendar scheduling. This will allow the AI assistant to check available appointment times, suggest visit times to the customer, and book the appointment if the customer agrees.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Cold Calling
- Call HVAC businesses in the United States
- Speak with owners or managers
- Explain CallBrixa in a simple and professional way
- Ask if they miss calls when they are busy, driving, on a job, closed, or after hours
- Offer them an easy way to test the AI receptionist by calling our demo number
- Follow the call script, but also improve it based on real conversations
- Record every call result in the reporting file
2. Team Management
- Manage 2 cold callers at the beginning
- Check their daily reports
- Make sure they are calling properly
- Review their performance
- Help them improve their calls
- Help them understand the script and offer
- Make sure they record results correctly
3. Hiring and Training
- Help interview new cold callers
- Review candidates
- Give feedback about who looks strong or weak
- Help onboard new callers
- Train new callers using our script and reporting system
- Recommend who should stay, who needs more training, and who should be replaced
4. Reporting
You will send a daily summary report to the owner, including:
- How many calls were made
- How many people answered
- How many owners or managers were reached
- How many people were interested
- How many potential customers were generated
- What problems happened during the day
- What should be improved
5. Script Improvement
- Improve the cold call script based on real conversations
- Share common objections from business owners
- Suggest better ways to explain CallBrixa
- Help make the team better over time
WORK SCHEDULE
- 4–6 hours per day
- Monday to Friday
- US business hours
Expected time split:
- Around 4 hours per day making your own cold calls
- Around 1–2 hours per day managing callers, checking reports, hiring, training, and improving scripts
This can become a long-term position if performance is good.
COMPENSATION
Team Lead:
- $6/hour
- 4–6 hours per day
- Paid trial period first
- Long-term position available if performance is good
Bonuses:
- $25 for each first paid customer generated from your own calls
- $15 for each first paid customer generated by your tea
Regular cold callers on your team will usually be paid:
- $4/hour
- $25 bonus for each first paid customer
BONUS RULES
A paid customer bonus is paid only after the customer’s first monthly payment is successfully received and not refunded within 7 days.
The customer must be a real HVAC or related home service business.
The customer cannot be personally connected to the caller.
The lead source must be clearly recorded in the reporting file.
We do not pay second-month bonuses at this stage.
We do not pay bonuses for fake leads, personal contacts, duplicate businesses, or customers who request a refund within 7 days.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in cold calling, appointment setting, outbound sales, or lead generation
- Experience managing or training other callers is strongly preferred
- Good spoken English
- Comfortable speaking with US business owners
- Organized and honest with reports
- Able to follow and improve scripts
- Able to manage a small remote team
- Able to work during US business hours
- Able to give honest feedback about other callers
- Able to help hire and train new callers
- Experience with HVAC, home services, SaaS, or B2B sales is a plus
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who can lead by example.
This means you should be able to make calls yourself, not only manage others.
You should be comfortable testing scripts, improving the pitch, helping other callers, and sending clear daily reports.
We want someone responsible, honest, organized, and proactive.
If someone on the team is not performing well, we expect you to explain why and recommend what should be done.
You will not make final hiring or firing decisions alone. You will review performance, explain your recommendation, and the final decision will be approved by the owner.
